Rita developed The Edge Transformational Programs©, as an integrated, holistic, system for strategic change and for personal, business, and political transformation. This groundbreaking ancient wisdom model has inspired leaders and individuals to assess challenges, transitions, and crisis, create progressive breakthrus, develop strategic plans, and achieve a regenerative vision after rising out of the ashes.
Three decades ago, Rita began an exploration of the transformation process while facing an inner crisis of meaning and healing a life threatening autoimmune disease. Her research and experience led her to discover specific developmental stages crucial to successful and lasting change. Spiritual principles and qualities were linked to each developmental stage and the sequential implementation of these principles form the foundation of her unique transformational programs. Her insights are grounded in the real-world experiences of empowering more than 10,000 individuals to understand, manage, and create their own ongoing transformational process. She applies her wisdom working with individuals ranging from youth to national leaders in various fields.
Rita is the author of Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs, Stories from the Edge: Nine Principles to Create Lasting Transformation and Moving off the Edge: Creating and Embracing Change. Her other books The Nine Principles: Creating a Life of Power and Meaning and Power and Politics are in revision. A past business columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, she also wrote articles for California Lawyer and The Executive Women.

Rita has a B. S. degree in Business Management from Southern Illinois University. As an educator, she has served on the adjunct faculty for several schools, including the University of California Medical and Business and Management School, and U. S. Chamber of Commerce Institutes for Organizational Management and San Francisco State University. As a political, community, and business leader, she has served as a director on the boards of more than fifteen organizations besides being an appointee of former San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein.
Rita has diverse interests that have shaped her life from mentoring youth to speaking about the legacy of her ancient indigenous Phoenician culture, teaching Eastern meditation and Chinese healing practices, studying multi-cultural ancient wisdom, adventure travel and sporting activities (sailing, scuba diving, gliding, sky diving, rafting, hiking), enjoying culture (opera, ballet, classical music and film) to being an avid reader and a paper Mache artist.
